So, has anyone heard of this movie due to come out in september? Or Firefly?
I simply cannot wait for it, kind of an underdog tale after it was canceled by fox after its 11th show, now continued into a 45 million dollar movie by Universal. Theres a ton of buzz all over the place with all manner of people turned onto it.

Firefly was an ace series and Serenity is looking damn cool this far.

I'm interested in seeing this movie, one of my teachers in school actually worked on the some of the models for the CG ships.

I absolutely can't wait. Trying to get Detty (and any other Britassians) to come down to London for the opening.

He's in there, I didn't see him in any action scenes, but he usually isn't anyway... I figure that he either left the ship when Mal mentioned that that planet was the last port or disembarked before... I do wish to see him kick more butt like in serenity/war stories.

The series was excellent, so I have high hopes for the movie, as well. Perhaps they haven't sacrificed too much of the character personalities in order to explain things to totally new audience.

*points at signature line and holds his breath while waiting*

I had a Firefly party on Friday; had lots of people come over and watch it. I recieved my "Joss Whedon is my master now" shirt in the mail today - I'm going to wear that and a brown duster/trench coat to the premier, along with about 10 of my closest friends/converts on September 30th.

Midnight, I'll be there.

For the record, River is one of the coolest SciFi characters ever. She's psychic, psychotic, crazy, morbid and creepy, and can kick butt.

I bought em. The gag reel is nice, but it's not the TRUE gag reel. You can dload the full, orignial gag reel off Kazaa, or somewhere else if you can find it. I did. It's hilarious.

I downloaded Ballad of Serenity, and edited with a 10-dollar mic so I'm now singing along on the track. It's actually not bad.

I didn't buy the DVDs, only because they're so expensive. But I do love the show.

I have the "Unofficial Firefly Soundtrack" from bittorrent.. it's pretty much every clip with background music, 290+ mp3s. This includes The Ballad of Serenity and Hero of Canton. (Best. Song. Ever.)
