You know the drill!

Which sports do you enjoy watching/playing?

I enjoy watching Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Boxing, Wrestling, and Snowboarding.

>.>
...maybe Golf if Alice Cooper plays. \m/

I like to do Martial Arts, typeing, and track.

[EDIT:] My apologies if your sport is not on the list. I had to try to cut it back to 15 options (max)...so if you play somthing like Croquet, Cricket, or you like Rock Climbing or whatever, please post.

For some reason I forgot to type "Cross Country/Track"...or I did type it and it cut it off.

I enjoy watching basketball, baseball, but most of all football. To play, it has to be basketball and football. Hell I'll even throw in my favorite teams: Milwaukee Bucks for the NBA, Yankees for the MLB, and the Packers for the NFL.

Cross Country/Track and Field here.

I did track for six years (three h.s. three college) and I did 3.5 of XC. College XC is...painful.

Quick edit: Watching wise, I'm just baseball and football.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

NCAA football (despite us having the worst team in the SEC), NCAA baseball, NCAA basketball a little, and MLB.

Oh yeah, and those 3 would be about the only ones I enjoy to play.

I like to watch hockey, and play basketball (though it's usually just a game of 21 now and then).

I'm thinking of taking a couple old rake handles, attaching foam to the ends, and having gladiator matches with my housemates next year, but I suppose that's not really a sport. Just good old brutality :D

I love to play soccer (football). Manchester United is the bomb.
I like to watch rugby, but I've never played a proper game. A few times we've played a rather rule free game heavily based on rubgy, but never the real thing. It looks painful.

I love hockey. But I haven't seen it in at least two years because of the strikes and my lack of knowing what's going on with it. I liked Detriot.

While I rarely ever watch any sports, I do enjoy it when I do. I used to play basketball and take karate, but I've become bored with both. These days I mostly just hike, but I have been looking into mountain-biking.

Poker rules! Although it's not really a sport... But it is highly competitive. Wish they showed more poker on free-to-air over here.

Aussie Rules Football is the best spectator sport in the world, while cricket is the best thing to have on the tv while you're doing something else.

I played soccer for the longest time (9 years, until I got to high school) and then I played volleyball (not beach) for my school...but then I figured that being on a varsity school sports team is the same as being in a cult, and I was already involved in another cult known as Broadneck chorus.

So in short answer- to play: Soccer and volleyball

...and singing the national anthem for any and all sports

I don't compete in anything, but I'm open to try all kinds of stuff to stay in shape:

I'll just rank them in proficiency:

1) Alpine Skiing (I'll follow my dad and brother anywhere. I don't have a problem with most stuff, as long as it isn't a reeeeally steep/mogul-infested black)
2) Biking
3) Football (the one that involves passing the ball around with your feet). I did actually compete with the school ten years ago.
4) Nordic Cross-country skiing
5) Uhh... I sometimes go to the range with my dad to whack some balls with an 8-iron. I probably could get a green-card if I really tried a bit harder and wanted to invest some effort and money.

Watch:
WRC :)
international Hockey
any old kind of Skiing/Biathlon
Football
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

i watch motorsport, it rocks, F1> *.

how the hell do people get into driving F1 anyway?

its not like you can go down to your local car dealership and ask to test drive one claiming "I'M GONNA BE A FORMULA 1 DRIVER!"
2005-08-07, 5:50 AM #27
They work their way up the ranks, just like any other job really :p

Most F1 drivers used to drive Formula Fords, go karts, even Indy Cars. Stuff like that. F1 is the pinnacle some drivers aim for.

Most of them start out racing go-kart thingies at weekends when they're around 6 or 7.
