Well, this expansion is being made by Valve, which is a first for the Half-Life series. I'm pretty sure Gearbox owns the rights to Shepherd's character so his appearance in a future expansion beyond aftermath will probably never happen unless Gearbox decides to make another expansion.

I know this is nuts, but I just started playing the original HL yesterday. It is unbelievable how far ahead of its time that game was. I don't think there's been a game with scripted cutscenes like that since. Now I will definitely be getting HL2.

Steal my dreams and sell them back to me.....
