It's actually not that useless. It's, what, $10 for a domain name? There's a decent chance that he'd make more than that.

Out of curiosity I searched "domain name" and got some strange results. I think this was my favorite.

Poor ebay is full of vapor auctions now. What happened to the days when you could get something awesome and tangible, like say, the haunted painting?
