When i go to bed, I lay on my sides, but I end up sleeping on my stomach.

But seriously, one side or the other. I usually alternate.

Sometimes I rest on my back, and end up falling asleep.

usually it's on my right side, but it's recently been in any position as long as I'm hugging my pillow. don't laugh!

i sleep in any position once i'm asleep, thats why my back is bad and I wake up with headaches :(

I don't know why but I'm what you call a "pillow hugger". I prefer to sleep hugging one of my pillows while the other supports my head. I think that's just proof that I seriously need a girlfriend :p

i sleep on my side with an extra pillow and i put my arm and top leg over it as if..well i was cuddling with a person. its a) prolly coz im needy b) if i lie on my side i feel like im havin to prop my body up..this way i can stay on my side n still be supported c) doesnt keep my back completely per pendicular to the bed ( i learnforwardish a bit) which is better or otherwise your vertabrae sinks down a bit..coz well women have curves and my bed dont adapt to that

on my stomach even if it is "bad for your spinal cord". I can't sleep on my back because well..I just can't fall asleep. On my right or left sides however I can, especially if I'm sick or if there's major light in one direction.
I had a blog. It sucked.

I cannot sleep on my back at all.

The only time I ever slept on my back was for a few nights right after getting my appendix out, because I had little choice. I prefer sleeping on my stomach.

On my back. I remember I did sleep on my stomach when I was a kid, but I haven't been able to do that for years now.

I read somewhere that people who sleep only on their back are frightened that something may happen to them while they are asleep, but those who sleep on their stomach aren't concerned about anything while they sleep.

YAY FOR WATERBEDS!

Seriously though, on both my waterbed and my crappy dorm bed I tend to sleep on my side, and flip periodically. I cannot sleep without my arm under the pillow, and recently when on my waterbed, I tend to just throw the pillow off the bed and use my arm as a pillow.

Sometime I do sleep on my back, usually with my arms crossed on my chest, the blanket up to my neck, and the pillow on top my head (usually balanced on my forehead). It sounds strange, but I get the best sleep that way... on the flipside, it also usually takes me much longer to "wake up" when I've been sleeping like that (you know that wonderful feeling when you wake up and you don’t know who you are or what you re doing...)

On either side, lights make me sleep on my right a little more. For some reason I feel like my stomach is going to implode when I sleep on my back. Sleeping on my stomach is weird, I used to do it a very long time ago though.

I have two pillows. The bottom one is perpendicular [as per normal pillows], the other one I have on top of that but vertically. Sleeping usually involves lying on my stomach with the vertical pillow suporting my head and rib-cage, with arms wrapped around it.

I also don't use a bed. Instead I have a nest/bedroll on the floor [which is conveniently portable].
Also, I can kill you with my brain.

On my stomach, with the left side of my face on the pillow. I always have to alternate between left and right side several times before I can finally fall asleep though. If I try to just stay on the left side, it takes me forever to do it.

I have 4 pillows, but I don't sleep with any of them much. I got one biggggggggggggg pillow that resembles the torso of a person, so I hug it and pretend it's a significant other.

Thats how my ex-firlfriend sleeps too. This seems common among the ladies.
