Hey guys I just bought Star Wars: Battlefront today, and I played singleplayer, before I delved into multiplayer. Horribel AI, but the game seems like it could be blast on multiplayer. One problem, when I try to join a server, I get "Invalid CD Key" error.
I bought this game at gamestop brand new, so I don't know why's it's acting up, anyone have any solution?

Take it back, explain the problem.

OR

Send an e-mail to the company (they'll probally ask for the serial number)

OR

Shop at EBGames.

Perhaps there is a patch out for this particular problem?

I'd guess some one pirated your CD key with a key gen.
Pissed Off?

I don't think so.. otherwise it would say "CD Key Is Already In Use" or something to that effect wouldn't it?

Don't know how it works with BF.

If that's the case, well, I'll just reinstall tommorrow anyways and get a keygen.

Using a keygen will still get you that invalid CD-key error. 200% garenteed.

this wouldn't happen to be a situation where the store in question removes the game discs from the box? and keeps them in a drawer or something?

because if that's the case it's possible a store employee might be using your key
