Why is the answer to why always why? Why is there no final answer to why? Simply why not? Holy cow, this is pretty deep, meaningful **** I wrote. Glad I wrote it down. Oh man."

[01:52] <~Nikumubeki> Because it's MBEGGAR BEGS LIKE A BEGONI.

Yah, you just have to change the settings when you create a new image. You can't change the resolution once you've opened one. What I usually do is keep it at 640*480, and if there's something I want to render in higher resolution I save the attractor and then create a new image with the higher res, then load the attractor again.

Thanks. It just looked like a blob and I wasn't even going to do a quick render, but then said what the heck, and it turned out to be the best one yet. I have the attractor saved if you want it.

Don't forget to add a zero to the iterations bax for the final render.

Yeah, i am. well, i will be, in early september. did you just notice that from the url? if so, you're quite observant.

anyway, bakc on topic, why is it that everyone's images seem so much 'smoother' then mine? is it jsut because mine are so large?

Add more detail to the render by making the number of iterations larger. But be prepared to pay for it with precious time.

If you render it in gas, liquid, or solid, it will be msotly in shades of grey. If you render solid, though, be ready for some odd effects that don't always look all the great

How did Obi make a new gradient of only blues and purples instead of the full spectrum? I made a few cool ones, but a few would have looked better without the full spectrum.
