How is it made specifically for the iPod? First off any ditgital audio player can play them, and you don't even need a digital audio player, you can play them on your computer. The "Pod" part is only there because it's a buzz word.

Plus, it's just an MP3 being transmitted via RSS, which has been around alot longer than podcasts.

That doesn't justifiy all of internet radio to be referred to as podcasts. The ones that are targeted at iPod people are just radio shows targeted at iPod people.

I'm all for calling ones that are actually aimed at people with iPods, but there are alot of radio shows that don't and are still reffered to as podcasts. In fact, I have seen many cases where a site has a radio shows, that even isn't broadcasted through RSS, all you can do is download them from the site, and they still call themselves podcast. That just bugs me, proably unreasonably, but it does.
