My friend and I have just started playing Unreal Tournament for a little bit of fun and relaxation. The only thing is that we can't figure out how to host a game so that the other guy can join. He'll set it up, and then I'll put his IP and server name in favorites and go to play, but in the favorites window, it doesn't show that the server is active, or that he is even in there or anything. We're both a bit confused. Anyone know if they might be able to help?

LAN or internet? Are you even hooked up?

If nothing works, it might be easier to pick an empty server of what you want and play it.
