Can't remember the last time I had a desktop I liked this much, and yeah that's 3 monitors.

Now post yours and try to make it look as awesome as that! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Probably because I'm shelled into a linux box on the left screen, letting it do some grunt work and convert WAVs to MP3s. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif]

The theme is called AMPed, I got it from themexp.org, and I use StyleXP to apply it.

Got the background from deviantART and used Ultramon to apply it over all 3 screens, and that also gives me the 3 different taskbars.

My desktop is just a background... I got rid of all that taksbar / menubar crap a while ago. No icons either. Just a right click menu I made myself in XFCE4.

I used to believe that we must fight the future, lest change come without our consent. I was wrong. The truth is that we must embrace the future, for only with change can we remain the same.

To say that Microsoft makes more money than Linux makes you sound ULTIMATELY retarded.

And Caz--you know it's just "Die like the rest" because as an experienced operator's operating system, it > Windows.

For what tasks, exactly? Do you actually know what you're talking about?

I have Fancy on my desktop. But I don't have any pics of it.

Yes I do Jon, stop provoking flames about Linux. It's got a lot to offer, it runs faster, runs smoother, has less glitches, and runs a lot of stuff better than windows, for the experienced, non-gaming user.

It's not that hard of a concept, just admit Linux doesn't suck. Jeebus.

Me has Opulence skin from windowblinds public, a deviantart wallpaper (I think) of a butterfly on silver backdrop, a smart simple cursorxp cursor (just alpha blended for smoothness, no animation), objectdock autohiding on the left, no icons at all, a simple rainlender top left, and have stopped using winamp (I used citrus like at the top! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]) in favour of foobar (minimised - and thanks to whoever posted that in the "useful programs thread - it's a godsend).

If you had to pay $150 for a copy of Linux, would you? Is it worth as much as Windows? Be honest, Jesus will know if you're telling a lie.

Next person to corrupt a perfectly good topic with a Windows/Linux flame war gets their nads chopped off.

I can't, won't and haven't paid for either. And I'm doing surprisingly well.

Same as Tony. I won't even pay for Windows, and the only reason I wouldn't pay for Linux is compatibility and the learning curve. Get a life Jon, you're almost as bad about windows as GBK and Mystic0 were(I got your back [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]) about Linux.
