Post your most horrifying computer accident!
Simple, write up a expirence of your's involving computer related accidents.

On with mine.

Around 2 years ago on my birthday I recieved a new motherboard, because my old one was dying on me. My grandfather, who died 6 months later, had boughten it for me. Naturally, I cherised it. Fast forward a week. Now while im typing this, you must understand me and my little brother had been takeing swordsmanship lessons. I had also recieved a sword for my birthday. My little brother did not have one. I accidently broke a toy of his and he was furious. Fast foward 2 days also. I am out with my friend Jordan when I realise I need to come home. When I got home bits of plastic and metal were thrown around, I figured my dogs had gone through my floppy discs and stuff. I walked into my room to find my sword sticking out of the ground, a large chunk of metal and plastic in it. My motherboard was nowhere in sight in my computer.

Oh boy... Mine happened not too long ago. I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll find threads about it in the technology forum. It reminds me of too much stress so I try not to remember it... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

When I somehow messed up my computer so that when it boots, it tries to launch Tie Fighter (all the time, before loading windows, before I can press F8). Then I lost it, pulled a pair of connected wires apart, snapped them back together, and in doing so blew out the power supply.

was about 4 years ago, and it was only revived last summer, six monthas after I got the new power supply.

It is generally inadvisable to eject directly over the area you just bombed.
