Yes, our since departed friend would be happy - a huge archive of many of his long-lost textures (some never before seen by Massassians) has been discovered:

http://s87992361.onlinehome.us/Adam/

I simply typed "Adam Sliger" into Google, and this is what I got - a thread by one of his friends here: http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:Jj10VZlOM48J:www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php%3Fqt%3D24846+adam+sliger&hl=en&client=firefox-a

Although some textures are still missing, many have now been found. Perhaps FCTuner can upload the new additions to www.thelimelite.net and if anyone knows of the whereabouts of any more, please speak up and submit!

:)

Great find man...

I knew there were more somewhere... I remember someone showing me that site a long time ago... I actually think it was adam, but I never remembered it.

I'm glad you found it, and will at least try to get them up on TLL as soon as I can.

Thanks.

BTW The winamp skin SHOULD be on tll, if you want it, and either can't get ahold of CadetLee, or just don't want to get it from him.

[Edit] after reading the thread, I'm not sure when it was put up, but I do know that I have seen it before... just not sure where... I remember the black background, and the images laid out like that, and everything... oh well. sorry[/edit]

Those are awesome.

I remember using that hand scanner, I actually gave it a scanning beam that went up and down. I even remember when he was making those jump-pad textures.

Continue to rest in peace Adam, you are remembered.

I use it as well. Not only out of respect, but because it's a damn good skin.

Great textures.

unfortunately, I never had a chance to talk to mada.... :(

I was good friends with MaDa, but I never really liked his textures... they seem too cartoonish to me.. (along with some of the filters used are amature) This however didn't stop me from using some of them AND his tree 3dos in my OLD OLD level "London". After London, I kept trying to talk him into doing a caloboration level, but by then he seemed too sick to get involved. It sucks he died :(

Dude, London fricking owned. The only reason it didn't go in MLP3 was because the invisible walls annoyed the judges.

This makes me very happy. I never knew MaDaVentor, but I'm glad his spirit lives on. Sucks he had to leave this world so soon.

I suppose this would be a bad time to point out that MaDa's textures weren't that great - very fake and cartooney.

Now excuse me, I have to go put on my flame retardant suit.

I actually agree, but some of them boggle my mind of how they were made from scratch (GOLD COINS).

I never knew him either :(

Some are, but a ton of them would look awesome in-game such as the sandy terrain textures.

The amount of detail he was able to put in though, even some that turned out very cartoony are beautifully detailed, like the wooden crate textures.

Hey, awesome. Those tatooine building textures were originally done by me, and he improved them for me. Damn, I really miss that guy. We would always try to outdo each other by sending screenshots back and forth on AIM. Good times.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind a bit of constructive criticism.

I somewhat agree on some of them, but some of them are great too. His wooden textures especially (though I'd say Zully's newest one trumps it). Some very good stuff in there.

I like those textures. The point that they are a bit cartoony is a valid one...but cartoony is actually ideal for many applications.

MaDa wasn't the best by far, but he was comming a long way fast. If he were still with us today, his skill would have topped out at a professional caliber, no doubt about it. His work retains my sentiment solely becuase he was such a dear friend to me... things like this help me to remember the better days. :)
