It's simple. I lurve it. Down with mice that have 15 buttons. Who the hell USES 15 buttons? I like my three. Left, Right, Scroll Wheel Click, and then my tilt scroll wheel.

What? I've never seen 15 buttons. My MX518 has 8, but 2 of them are simply for sensitivity changes (good for going back to old games that are stuck in 640x480, ie Starcraft). That leaves 6. That's one more than the Mighty Mouse. Am I missing something? Don't get me wrong, the scrollball owns. But the mouse itself isn't all that appealing (especially not after having used one button Apple mice) and the shape isn't very ergonomic (logitech FOR THE WIN)

I was being sarcastic.

And it's plenty ergonomic for me. If you want non-ergonomic mice, go look at their old hockey puck things..... Those mice SUCKED.

This is just an oblong hockey puck. Seriously, use a Logitech for a week, and tell me it's easy to go back (because it sure as hell isn't for me). I use an MX518 at home, and go to school everyday to use the crappy old Apple supermouse or whatever on the G5's for Graphic Imaging/Computer Graphics.

It boils down to a matter of preference. Some people HAVE to have something that completely conforms to their hand. Now, while my MS Wireless Optical 2.0 does roughly that, and I like it, I can still easily use an Apple mouse with no discomfort at all.
