Harry Potter Trailer.

It looks cool, but I am dissapointed they didn't bring back Alfonso Cuaron to direct this film. I thought the third movie was the best in the series.

Ok after I've gotten that out of my system... some things I've noticed.

How come the Death Eaters look like the KKK with the big hats? And Harry's new hair rocks. The maze looks super cool and is that Hermione in with Krum dancing?
Oh and there's a short scene which looks like Harry and Cedric right before Cedric dies .
Wow. I cannot wait.

Agreed on the hair, although it does look alright in some of the short later shots.

Cho looks well cast, but from that very brief glance of Moody he didnt look quite mean enough.

The movies have always kind of sucked. Maybe just because the kids couldn't act. I dunno. Moody doesn't look at all what I'd pictured him. They took out Hermione's SPEW thing in this movie too.

Found these on the net.

I think Cho looks good, looks like she could burst into tears at any moment. (Cho is Harry's first love interest)

Moody does not look right, he's supposed to have bits of him missing.

That eye thing on Moody looks Muggle. And Moody was hunched over I believe and walked with a cane...but maybe I just don't remember the books that well. I also pictured him in a black cloak looking thing hunched over everytime I saw him. Actually...I think there's a picture of Moody on the back of book 5, but I'm too lazy to go hunt down the book to look.
I had a blog. It sucked.

all i can say is that dumbledore's speech is bad-***. i didn't really pay attention well enough to the rest of it, but his speech is awesome. they added more to it, he didn't say all that about immortal glory and such before, but oh does it fit.

Nope, you remembered it perfectly.
And your right, that eye looks very Muggle. The way it was described in the book I imagined it to be simply an animated eyeglass that sat in his socket, none of this cyber eyepatch stuff..

And yeah, I imagine a big glass eye too. And hunched over, thin and old, with a cane... basically, the exact opposite of this guy.

Yes, I think mad eye looks really stupid. He is supposed to look tough, not like a fat ugly benjamin franklin wannabe.

I also had the same problem with Sirius. He was supposed to be scary looking, yet very haggard.
The Sirius in the movie did not look like someone who has been in a soul sucking prison for over a decade.
Just like this movie Moody does not look like someone who's spent his life fighting Death Eaters.

Ah well, this is why movies are never as good as the books (if you read the books first), they just can't match up to your own imagination.

welll, actually, It may not acutlaly be moody, but his appearace is supposed to match perfectly to the real thing . One cna only hope his attitude is spot-on
