P90 Question

So I've started watching Stargate Atlantis. Since I've started watching this show, I've seen a lot of P90's. P90's are also in about every other thread in the showcase forum, so it's hard to miss them

My question is one that I've put time into thinking about, and i just can't find an answer.

The way those clips are loaded, the bullets/casings are facing left/right, but the bullet still shoots out forward. How do you load one of those clips into the gun to where it accepts the bullets, how does it feed the bullets into the gun (like is the clip spring-loaded like regular pistol clips?), how do you get the clip to stay in place (like is there a little hook or something you fit a certain slot over and it catches kinda like a pistol clip), and how does it twist the bullets around so the primer is at the back and the bullet tip is forward? If anyone has a diagram or something, that'd be great. Thanks!
I had a blog. It sucked.

The clip is sort of like a toilet paper roll where you've got to push it in at an angle. There are squeeze-buttons at the back end of the gun for releasing the clip. Bullets fall into the chamber and turn while falling [which is more reliable than I'm making it sound]. The clip has a spring within it, and layers of bullets [2] fall down at a time.

I may be somewhat incorrect abut the bullets, but that's how the clip works, as I have a P90 Airsoft gun at my grandfather's house that is as close to the real thing as you can get.

If my airsoft gun wasn't buried (we're moving soon), I'd take a pic for you..

There's some info, and you can catch a sideways view of the magazine: http://www.d3lf.net/p90/

They have some videos as well, which may show how the magazine operates..unfortunately, I'm on dialup..so I'm not too keen on downloading them all to see what they are. :p

Edit: I'm just over 1/3 through downloading the P90 promotional video. Download it!

#1 - it works because the p90 is UBER

#2 - It works because Amanda Tapping is hot.

I don't know exactly how it works, but it's not hard to imagine bullets going down a superfun happyslide that twists 90 degrees

Why is the answer to why always why? Why is there no final answer to why? Simply why not? Holy cow, this is pretty deep, meaningful **** I wrote. Glad I wrote it down. Oh man."

Bullets are racked perpendicular to the barrel, and are pushed towards the back of the gun by a spring loaded slide. There is a mechanism at the end of the magazine that rotates the bullets through 90 degrees to face forward.

The magazine is loaded into the gun by sliding the end underneath the upper receiver, then pushing the other end down. To remove it, there is a clip that engages the bullet-end of the magazine that has grips on both sides. Pull that back, and the magazine is released upwards at the bullet end, and can be slid back and out of the gun.

Reload, kill Goa'uld, rinse, repeat.

Q. How many testers does it take to change a light bulb?
A. We just noticed the room was dark; we don't actually fix the problems.

After careful reading of this thread, I think it's quite easy to determine how it actually works.
ProdigyOddigy's 'super-fun happy slide' is obviously the correct choice.

Since we're on the subject of guns (sort of) I'd just like to bring up this really cool one. It has 36 barrels and fires at something like 3 million rounds per minute. Dunno the caliber, but it carries a magazine of 540 rounds. It completely empties its magazine in a fraction of a second... :D:D:D:D:D

Anyone else ever heard of it? It's in Guinness 2004.
