Possibly the greatest meal you can eat. A soya sauce is used as a dipping sauce as you dip the buckwheat Soba noodles [boiled and chilled] into it with possibly some onions and Wasabi.
I'm not kidding you; out of all the meals I ate in Japan, Soba is possibly the greatest tasting thing. I have, since Japan, been making it in my house for breakfast, lunch, and dinner whenever I don't have time for something elaborate. It takes 10 minutes to make, is cheap [90 cents or so for a 4 meal pack of noodles. 40 cents for the sauce.], and REALLY healthy [Minus the wasabi, which is also expensive if it's REAL wasabi. Not that horseraddish crap.]
Has anyone ever tried this snack? Honestly, it's absolutelly fantastic. Post your favorite unusual meals that most people probably haven't had.
[BTW, I'm eating Zaru Soba as we speak :-D]
