I just saw the Blues Brothers on the BIG SCREEN! It was awsome. I went to see it last night. It was great. That's one of my favorite movies. And the movie is rereleased on DVD today. You can finaly buy it for less than $40! I searched for a reasonable price on the dvd before, but to no avail. Their music is cool, too. Anyway, discuss your feelings on the movie and its music...

after animal house came out on dvd the price dropped on the original Blues Brothers DVD, it went from $30 here at our stores down to fifteen, and then they released this new version just to piss me off it seems

The Blues Brothers has been out of print for years.

Universal had another run of discs pressed when Animal House came out on dvd, trust me.

Yes. And it went out of print... (again) believe me, I tried everywhere, including online. I almost got one on ebay but it got too expensive...

Well Animal House was only released on DVD in late 2003/ early 2004, I believe, so your original statement about it having been years was a bit off.
