Oh yes my fellow Massassians! The time draws near! Martyn is soon to be moving out of his parent's house and into his own, and better yet, will be sharing it with his small and perfectly formed girlfriend Izzy! I'm posting this now, because as of the weekend I probably won't be around here much, as our new house doesn't even have a phone line yet! (Fear not, I've already got the wireless router - it's just a case of getting a BT in asap to connect us, then find a broadband provider)

I should be getting the keys on Sunday, which is when I'll be moving my things in - Izzy is driving up from London with her mum on the Monday. I've taken Monday afternoon and all of Tuesday off work so we can get our gubbins all sorted out!

The house we're moving into is only tiny - it's one big bedroom, a big living room/kitchen area, and a bathroom and big cupboard, but it is a brand new build so everything is awesome and shiny! We have laminate flooring with underfloor heating, a big-*** fridge freezer, a combi washer/dryer and an electric oven with gas hobs (essential for the big *** meals I'll be cooking) - we even have an electrically heated towel rack in the bathroom (Which has a nice bath/shower combo thing going on)!

All in all it's fair to say I'm a little exited about this whole deal - especially because I've not seen Iz in a good month or so with her being in London and France! I feel somewhere between really grown up, and a kid in a sweet shop with a JCB

Martyn would like to offer Massassi some of his happy vibes, because he's got loads just bouncing out of every available orifice!

The house is amazing - small and perfectly formed! I have pics on my camera, but stupidly took my box full of cables to the house today once I had the keys and left it there - I've got internet access, a camera with the pics, but no method getting the two to talk! ooops!

Aside from that I get to see Izzy for the first time in a month tomorrow afternoon, so my mind is not going to be anywhere near my job tomorrow morning at work! Hopefully it'll be a chilled morning as we've got a new engineer starting (Grenville) so I won't have anything too tasking to be distracted from!

I am just BOUNCING right now - we won the pub quiz tonight too, so my share of the winnings was a fiver and a free pint (totals about 12USD I reckon), so things are EXTRA good as I go to bed now!

Apoligies for necro-post, but this seemed like the best idea for updates:

(1) BT are coming to connect up the house to the national network (new build, so no line in) on the 20th of Sept, so I'll be internet deprived at until then at the very least - I've yet to have a look for Broadband suppliers

(2) Everything is awesome, me and Izzy are keeping everything under control, clean and happy

(3) Work is still great, we have a few new starters too (including a new engineer called Grenville, who is a real nice chap)

(4) Powerbook is still > every other computer I've personally used.

(5) Hi to everyone I normally bump into around #massassi, and special shout out for Landfish who I think is back on school connection and I've not seen him in ages.

(6) I have to go now, I'm packing up extra things from home that I left behind (VCR, a few plates, tie rack...)

(7) Numbers are fun.
