Ok yes I've flipped and for good reason.

I'm going to compile the JK stargate SG1 mod tonight and to HELL with the bugs.
Its up for beta testing tommorrow.

i'm angry cos...

I cant cog, and Ive just been trying to fix a few bugs, and now it completely crashes jk when u hit jaffa with a zat nikitel.

and JK has way too many limitations to do stargate any justice

ANYWAY


-The mod will be "released" tomorrow, but I have yet to decide whether or not to give it to massassi WITH the bugs, or give it to a few editors/massassians to beta test and ALSO to fix the butt raping errors.

Just a little FYI on massassi if anyone still cares about JK...

Also, ALL jk editors/coggers/beta testers... please email or pm now to get your hands on it

If someone can fix a few errors and finish the few remaining cogs, it can be released to the rest of massasi within the week.

I think you should release it at the JKHub so you can get help and stuff. By showcasing and releasing it here, you just get people who say "lolz cool" and "can you do this and that lol!"

Oh no, this isn't good. At least release an alpha version so we can take a look at it; probably more people would be willing to help you fix stuff if we got a taste of it. Unfortunately I'm no good at cogging, so I don't really have anything to contribute.

I've always been a fan of your showcases. I'm sorry to hear you're having such difficulties.

Are there any more bugs other than the Zat gun? If so, is that the worsed bug? I definately wouldn't release a project that you've put so much time in to the general population until the crashing has been fixed.

Perhaps you should check for any vertex mistakes in 3do's and post your zat cog and static.jkl info in the cog forum for the editors to dissect before you do anything too suddenly (assuming that there are still editors for JK).

Yeah, try replacing your projectile for that gun with another that you know works and see if it still crashes. If not, it's a 3do problem.

Unless I misunderstand the symptoms.

trust me its cogs, the cog was changed and THEN it crashed.

If numerous editors help then I will mention them in the credits and the info for the mod, if ONE editor helps with ALL of it then I will put his name down as joint author of the mod... i think

We have an editing and cog forum for a reason. If you can't find any help there I'm sure you'll find it at jkhub. So many talented coggers around.

Dude, I'd be glad to have a look and see if I can find what's goofing up...
I prefer that to beta testing, since I suck at that (hence why I'm not beta testing jed v.96)
