http://www.smh.com.au/news/technology/microsoft-ceo-im-going-to-fing-kill-google/2005/09/03/1125302772214.html

Quote:
Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer vowed to "kill" internet search leader Google Inc. in an obscenity-laced tirade, and Google chased a prized Microsoft executive "like wolves," according to documents filed in an increasingly bitter legal battle between the rivals.

Quote:
"I'm going to f---ing bury that guy, I have done it before, and I will do it again," the declaration quotes Ballmer. "I'm going to f---ing kill Google."

Sounds like great fun!

I guarantee you he strongly regrets saying that. He also through a chair, reportedly.

GO BALLMER

Ha ha! Google will pwn them! Google is a big company that every one likes. Even if MS wins (which it won't) it will still loose. n00bzorz!

Well, we don't know for certain that the guy said that quote (one with the F bombs). Or his bad behavior. But it is easy to see (text and pic) why he is angry.

I guess not everyone loves Google. :(

If I had money... I'd invest it in Google. I know that I don't know anything about finances... but we're only seeing the tip of iceberg folks.
That painting was a gift, Todd. I'm taking it with me.

I dig. I mean, I really don't think it's inappropriate or anything - and although I'm for Google, I don't think that bigshot CEOs shouldn't be allowed to say what they really think on TV.

Microsoft - $27.02 per share, down 0.18.
Google - $288.45 per share, up 2.20.

You do understand the stock market right, and why some companies do not want their stock price that high and thus will issue splits, etc.

Compare the volume of both those and Microsoft owns google.

True - but keep in mind..how long has Google been a major player in the internet/IT game? How long as Microsoft been around? MS has had a long, long time to build in size, and personally, I think Google is doing an awesome job so far.
woot!

That's true, no doubt. However, just trying to dampen the claim and not have people going around boasting how MS's stock is at $20 something while Google is 10x higher.

Remember Yahoo? I'm not saying that Google will crash like Yahoo but who knows.

I never really liked Yahoo anyway - IMHO, it's nowhere near on par with Google.

I wasn't boasting at all. I just said "...yeah". The article isn't even real anyway. Wait, is it?
