the first step in painting Darth Evade's picture is in

this is a "mock up" in color pastell. when i get time to start painting it the blues will be deep and intreaging, the water will look like water, and the sky will show a bright morning. *cough* i hope :)

Quite interesting. But maybe you could use a bit bolder colours for the sky (and lake)? It might not be fateful to the original photo (I don't remember), but it could suit the painting, make it more dramatic.

But it's a nice painting already.

yah i plan to deepen the hues in the sky and water, and i realise i cant do it justice in oil pastell.

the real painting will be on 18 by 24 paper and problly take me 3 months to complete. and before i start on that, does anyone have more suggested changes?
