http://www.reader2.com

I just found this site, and it's great. You add books that you have, along with an amazon link, description, and 'tags' to help people search and sort for their interests, and then it posts them on your personal page.
It's a great way to reccomend books to people, just link them to your site!

I think I found heebedee's, but I'm not sure. I won't post it, in case he doesn't want it linked.

Awesome site! It's a shame they don't have a friend's list system implemented.

Post yours!

Great find. It will take me forever to compile a list, but here's a start...

Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

Damn, this will take a long time for me. I have like 500 books in my personal collection and at least 2500 in my home.

OMFG! Battlefield Earth is first.

It's only 1050 pages. Of pure awesomeness. It's "Reccomended" on my site.

cant those scientologists™ just get through thoer head that just because they spam that book onto every list of popular books, doesn't mean people will see that book is apparently popular and decide to joint the church of scientology™.

note the ™ is to stop any illegal site shut downs or removals from google by scientology™ by claiming that it is a breach of copyright.

anyway, i will try, but iit would take at least a year to go through these books, mabye i will use it as an excuse to try and see if we can tidy up our book shelf.

Alpha1: Battlefield: Earth was written before Scientology, and I am not a Scientologist. I think it's a load of oregano. Just because an author is crazy, doesn't mean he can't write amazing books.

Want proof? Read some Philip K. Dick, and then research his life a bit.

yes, but my problem is that scientologists buy that book by the boxload to get it on top 100 book lists. hence the spaming the book comment. Also, I would prefer a book by an aurthor with good writing skills.

Happydud: I have to disagree with you. I thought the movie was better SOLEY because it didn't include that God-aweful ending with the shark-alien-banker people.

Ending? The shark alien banker people came in at page 300 or so. The movie ended around page 250.

The book actually ends at page 1050...

The movie induced physical pain.

Apparently happydud and I have different memories of how the book was organized.

And yes, the movie was painful. That's how much worse I felt the end of the book was.

I think the movie's excellent, the radio show is amazing, and the book is good.

Oh noes.
