Yeah, but can you rotate to the surface of the planet and drop down into valleys and next to mountains? Does Google have topographic and multiple sattelite images?

GoogleEarth also has 3D building models for some cities. Like DC.

Granted, they're untextured, but it's still rather cool.

also, google earth has one textyure layer and other countires also have hihg res coverage.
