New Death Cab album
2005-09-05, 12:43 AM #1
I know it's sorta old news, but... death cab is my favorite band and i'd like to start a discussion about the new album.

personally, i think it's better than transatlanticism, which i thought couldnt be possible. soul meets body is one of the best songs on it, but, wow, im crying because the whole album is just SO good.

I liked Transatlanticism (mostly because of Tiny Vessels), but it had a lot of filler and the album as a whole didn't impress me. I want to give the new one a listen, as this is their first on a major and the production quality is sure to be top-notch.

I love some of the songs (Brothers on a Hotel bed, Marching bands of Manhattan, etc) but after a few listens the novely wore off and I still like Transantlanticism as a whole better.

Meh. They're alright, but I'll take me Minus the Bear and whatnot over them anyday.
