My Grandpa is dying...

:( :( :( I really didnt feel so good this time that he's gone into the hospital. It's been getting worse everyday. His heart is weak, and his blood needs filtering but he's so weak that they cant filter his blood. My mom is with my grandma now. My dad called to ask if we would like to attend his funeral because it's likely he will pass. We have postponed my sisters Bridal Shower....

Anyways Idont know if any of u remember but this is my grandpa who's picture I had posted in here before. I love him a lot, and this is prob. one of the closest people I'vehad to lose thus far in my life.

Anyways I just want to ask for massassi vibes for my family to feel better and for those of u who are religious just for some prayers please. Thnx people

:( sorry to hear that. It's never easy to lose a loved one, so I'm sorry. I hope some miracle happens and he pulls through. You have my vibes and best of luck.

Well aside from the usual "you have my sympathies" I would add...

It was his life that should be dwelt upon, not his death. Celebrate good life and its passing.

I've been down your road. I watched my grandfather on dad's side deteriorate to cancer. He was about 250ish and ended up weighing probably 15 pounds more than I (~135). I'm so ever thankful that this didn't cause a great schism in the family. I thought it would. There are some who are...well, not very thoughtful. I'm with Ruthven. Think about all the good things about him throughout life.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I'm sorry to hear that. Two of my grandparents and an uncle went through all of that mess, so i can relate to your situation. All I can tell ya is to comfort him the best way possible and hope for the best. Don't get too down though......if he passes, he'll be relieved of all the pain he's had to endure through the past few days/weeks. I wish you luck with the whole situation.

Thank u guys. U know i thought I was holding together pretty well, I tried to call my best friend who's like a sister to me and as soon as I heard her voice I lost it, I had to put my sisteron the phone.

Well my sis and I are a good support system to each other. I cryand then i'll be fine and then she'll cry. So it works. Anyways, he cant talk and has been in and out of conciousness so one time when he was awake my sister had my dad tell him we love him. he can only be up for a few minutes at time without gettng tired.

My grandpa on my dad's side is already gone. this is mygrandpa on my mom's side and well the one I was closest with and love a lot. But it's good to have the support. My mom is watching my grandma who has diabetes making sure she eats cuz she keeps getting high bloodpressure and everythng cuzof not eating and being stressed. But u know at least she's having her time with him.I want him to get better, but itjust really doesnt look that way. He's just been growing weaker and gettting worse...

Anyways thanks everyone. It means a lot. please keep those vibes and prayers going

Just remember that everyone dies sometime. It may suck to lose him now, but think--he could have been in worse pain if he had stuck around.

I think Ruthy got it spot on, though.
