Since here everyone and their cat's a game guru, this is probably old news, but since I've only learnt of it I'll share either way.

Sin: Episodes. Built on the SOURCE engine and distributed through STEAM, apparently, in parts. Which sort of sucks IMHO. But it looks great, and to be honest, I hope I can upgrade before it comes out.

It probably won't eat more resources than HL2, but my comp's not powerful enough to even play that. Well, anyways. I just wish I could buy the whole game in one package.

On this topic, Dystopia comes out Friday and DoD:S comes out this month.

I quite like the idea of an episodic FPS!

I mean I have played shooters that have gotten old quickly or have been ok but not tense.

This pay-per-epsiode system is ideal, it will keep suspense and excitement if you really enjoy it while allowing people who dislike the first episode to have only paid for that one.

What's really good is that once all the episodes are bought it'll add up to about the same as a regular game.

I guess the con could be its one of those near never ending games, something that never seems to die... 'Buffy' is a good example.

Hopefully its good though.

It wouldn't load on the computer I had at the time.. (The loading bar always stopped at about 3/4s)
