New DOOM trailer...

I checked, there hasn't been a post of this in the past week, so even if there was... it wouldn't count, or whatever.

The 1st person thing was funny to see, but I hope that if they do it in the movie it's jsut a brief flash or something, like a little sight gag or something, not a real "feature" of the movie...

-Actually... that would be a cool "special Feature" on the DVD...

Too much first person for my liking. If I want to see DOOM first person, I'll play the stupid game!
Life is beautiful.

They should include the original Doom video game on the DVD.

*twitch*

I'm getting the DVD
"Jayne, this is something the Captain has to do for himself"

Meh. It looked slightly entertaining from the teaser, but after seeing the full blown trailer... I found myself thinking it looked rather boring. Lots of flashy special effects and little substance. Of course, that's what the game is anyway, so I guess they did a fair job. Regardless... I was thinking of seeing it before... now I'm thinking I might just wait for the DVD and grab it from the library.

i love how they use CG only when they have to (like an imp making a 20 ft jump down from a ledge, and deamons being blown apart)

im so ****ing excited.

Hmm... They take a game that had a crap story that probably took devs. 5 min. to think out, and existed only to allow you to kill tonnes and tonnes of guys, and they make it a movie? As even worse they are able to make it stupider? Hell does not genetically mutate loose!

HL2 is the only game that could make a good, albeit depressing movie.

HL2 would make a great movie; unfortunately, everyone would hate the ending. And of course you'd need to make HL1 into a movie first. Actually, aren't they doing that? I could have sworn I read something to that effect.

Yea...except the main character never talks...

That's okay, I think. Maybe they could show the movie from Gordon's persepective. (Obviously not 1st person, but you know what I mean.)

I can't really see any way to do a Half Life movie with Gordon as a main character, or even among the main characters. He'd have to be, like, a cameo or something.

-The 7 Hour war might be cool to see.

Awesome, loved the trailer.

Two things I noticed - the half-naked Diesel, being half-naked for, apparently, no bloody reason whatsoever, and the token black guy. I mean, is it like a tradition or something? One dude must be black? Why not 2? Or 3? Or none? And, of course, it's 90% chance that he's going to die. It's probably a Hollywood inside-joke by now or something.

My thoughts are very curvy.

Vin Diesel can smelt iron simply by squeezing limestone and iron ore between his hands. Before he became famous he would smelt up to three hundred tons a day in order to have money to live.

If you stick a pencil in Vin Diesel's ear, it comes out sharpened.

Vin Diesel does not wear sunblock...the sun wears Vinblock.

Vin went back in time and fathered himself. This created a paradox, which is why there are 2 of them right now.

It is believed by most that Vin Diesel does not feel the need to eat, but does so out of habit. His favourite dishes include the despair of the innocent, the last breath of the dying, and spaghetti bolognaise.

It's the rock, not Vin.

That movie looks really.... stupid.

Then again, I'm not a fan of the Rock, and... that first-person view was just ridiculous.
