This month's weekly useless poll!

I personally CANNOT stand bottles. I'd much rather have a can of whatever I'm drinking. Cans may be small [especially mountain dew, somehow, I can drink much larger swigs of mountain dew, and the cans seem small. Oh well, 2 will do.] but a bottle, I don't know, I feel like I can chug a can easier than a bottle. Am I crazy, or is the round cylinder just an easier method of getting beverage?

I think EVERYONE can agree that ice is the devil. Ice makes cold front teeth. I don't like cold front teeth.

Cans ALSO keep it colder longer. Bottles also tend to be more annoying to carry around.

In Japan, they had gigantic cans of pop, like the size of those monster drinks and whatnot. They also had a lot of coffee in tiny cans that could be tilted back and swallowed. I only saw MD ONCE, and it was in the REALLY old cans from like, 92. I wished I could have found large 30oz cans of MD. Oh man.

DEBATE!

I drink water out of a Nalgene bottle, milk from a really big glass and beer from the bottle or a pint glass.

Bottles mean you can carry around more at a time. Ice is also a delicious treat.

Cans, because when you're done you can throw them on the ground with a satisfying *chink*.

Bottles, as long as they're not just the right size to create suction around your lips no matter how hard you try to avoid it.

That's because Dew is less fizzy than most sodas. Which can suck for those of us who drink it directly from 2 liter bottles. (i.e. "me")

And is it just me, or does dew from a can taste different than Dew from bottles? The canned actually upsets my stomach, and bottled doesn't. The only thing I can figure is that maybe they have seperate bottling and canning plants located in different regions, which would cause them to have different water supplies, thus accounting for the different tastes. Kinda like how fountain drinks taste different at different geographic locations.

I agree. I've always liked canned pop more than bottled. Taste wise, but I figured it's just me. But the can MIGHT have some effect on taste?

Bottles are better because nobody can get all the liquid out of a can. That doesn't stop me from trying.

Bottles. I'm more used to them, and I think drinking out of them is easier, as well.

Since I don't drink soda very often, I'll go with orange juice/water/milk in a glass, no ice.

However, I absolutely refuse to drink beer from a can. Only from a bottle or pint glass.

I enjoy a tall glass of my favorite beverage, poured over ice. If I can't have that, I'll take a bottle. Anything from a can tastes funny, and I find bottles easier to handle anyway. Stupid cheap fast food cups should not exist.

If you can't hold a can up for the 5 minutes it takes to drink a can of pop, you suck.

And I usually have to get a cup with ice for pop that can't fit in the fridge. I HATE ice.

You are thinking it backwards. Because you can't reseal it, with a can you don't have a choice and have to drink it in 5 mins. You can very well drink also a bottle of the same volume in the same time, but you don't have to.

You can drink a full bottle of pop in 5 minutes? You crazy.

I don't know, I don't like carrying a bottle around with me wherever I go. A quick can of MD, or even Red Bull, and I'm happy. Just enough pop for me, quick enough to drink, and if I want more, they're cheaper than bottles.

Seriously, 2 6packs for 3 dollars is a NICE price when a single bottle costs like a buck.

If your pop won't fit in your fridge, you suck.

And there are many times in the day when I do not want my drink to be gone in 5 minutes. I want it to be there for at least an hour. That can isn't going to cut it. Especially if you are in a car with idiot brothers who enjoy spilling crap, or when your on a bike and your shoe decides to lose traction with the pedal, causing your foot to slide down, throwing your balance off, and tossing the can of pop at whoever was in front of you (true story :/ )

I can drink a bottle of pop in SECONDS. A can could go down in a matter of 10 seconds.

It's not that absurd. I just don't do it often.

Depends entirely on the drink.
I prefer the taste of coke from a can, but other then that I prefer a bottle for re-sealable convenience

In respect to price and portability, AND varity, Bottles = win
Cheap 3 liters of Faygo, or even those little 8ounce Coke bottles they have are great. Cans you see little varity with the normal 8ounce or the half-sized ones.

And, can YOU make music with a can by blowing on it?!

i will admit though, the mini-cans make good grenades...
