It would suck to be someone without cable (like my dad), since all the local channels were airing it.

Bandwagons are hard to not jump on in situations that make your company look good, and allow you to gain a personal attachment to your viewers, rather than just an entertainment level.

Is it really necessary to have 50 grocery stores in the same town selling the same crap? Its just lots of different businesses doing what is currently the popular thing. You cant call it "overkill" because its not one all powerful person doing it. Thats like saying the large ammount of different computer case manufacturers is overkill. It just doesnt makes sense.

If it was FOX alone with 20 different channels covering the same thing, then you could call that overkill. But that is not the case.

If all 50 grocery stores were within the same building it would be overkill.

Well, I've theorized that Montana doesn't actually exist.

Think about it. Have you ever BEEN to Montana? Do we have any proof that Montana isn't just a governmnet conspiracy? There's never anything on the news about Montana. You hear about old ladies getting eaten by alligators in Florida, California swimming due to an earthquake, and even North Dakota getting p-'d off because people think it's too cold to go there for vacation because of the North in their name.

But you never hear about Montana.
