Well, I'm wondering... (for perfectly legal activities) what is the best torrent client to use? There's a number of clients out there but it's always the same, every website lies about who's got the better torrent.

What do you use? Does it give you problems? Do you even like it?

Post why, because just naming them won't help.

I use Azureus.. because it's easy to use, very configurable (if that's even a word) and it makes it easy to manage many torrents.

Bittornado.

Control upload speeds, control which files get downloaded first in a collection torrent, see exactly how fast the torrent is going, and do everything possible to boost the speed.

Plus, its in a small package, no bloat like azerus.

BitComet. It's certainly a bloat, but it's the first and only client I have used, and thus I can't compare it to anything, so what do I know...

I only started a few days ago. I don't believe in piracy, but it's a good way to get stuff that can't legally be obtained. I used it to get Battle Royale. It's also a good use/abuse of the University's bandwidth. I was turned on to BitComet and can't compare to others. I notice that it might be misreporting my ratio on Demonoid though.

ABC is based straight off BitTornado, with a few more features. I've used both, and eventually settled on ABC, the interface made more sense to me, or looked better, or something. It's mostly a matter of preference. Just don't use BitTorrent itself, unless you're on broadband, and won't ever interrupt a download.

It is, unless you have the latest version. That's why it got banned on a few sites I visited until recently.

I use Torrentstorm, because it doesn't need to hash resumed files. And that makes me happy.

Also, people, quit putting polls on threads just because you can. It's lame. That is all.
