Graduation Presents

I need to think of a graduation present to get for my girlfriend. It can't be too expensive, and I'm having trouble deciding if I should buy something useful for college or meaningful and sweet...

Amy suggestions?

A bottle of red wine or champagne from her birth-year. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

That's what I'm giving. We have several of mine stashed away, and coincidentally she's only a few months older than me.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

I'd be willing to pay around $100, maybe more if it's something worth it.

spend about $3-5 on silly/funny crap, that always goes down nice. (my dad said he once gave my mam an empty bag of sugar for her birthday 'sweet nothings')

Spend the rest on something in silver.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, keep 'em coming.

Yes, we're very close. The only problem is, I already gave her a silver ring and necklace, so I'm not sure what other jewlry would be good to get.

The sweet nothings idea is a good one. Personally, I'm a fan of the enormous bear, lots of flower petals all over the room and the you asking where / what she wants to do type thing.

I actually like the stuffed animal idea. We're going to different colleges next year, so I could make it my 'replacement'?

I would use the term "place holder" or "bookmark" replacement is no good. You don't want to be replaced.
