I've never played a final fantasy game, but if i was asked which was the best, i'd likely go with 7... because that's kinda a general consensus that people have arrived at... no?

It's not 'hype' if a bunch of people really, really like it.

There's so many dif types of final fantasy games, each one with something different for diferrent people.

Hmm, I have to agree.

Even though I suppose I like FF7 more.

Mediocre Final Fantasy, perhaps the first one, though.

I know quite a few gamers who started with FF7. FF7 was a great convertor. Got a lot of people who normally never play rpg's to start playing them.

FF6 remains my favorite of the FF's, but that doesn't make the others crap.
