My marching band is performing in the Shanghai Tourism Festival this week, so we're leaving for China bright and early tomorrow. Withdrawal time coming soon.

Wow, that's cool. I actually know someone from China. On second thought, who am I kidding, I'm at a university; like 99% of the people here are from China.

At my high school the marching band is hated. One time my friend just wanted people to at least acknowledge the fact that the marching bands had competitions. He submited an announcement (against school policy to do that without permission from a teacher) that went off on some tangent about how we were marching to the communist theme song and how it featured all this commie stuff. The dumb SBO's read the announcement three times one day because they thought it was funny. Our director kicked his butt (both literally and figuratively). It just reminded me of that just because of the band going to China.
If curiosity killed the cat then perhaps Curious George killed the cat.
But Cat's do have nine lives so who knows?
