can anyone tell me the name of the program or game, whichever you like to call it, that was released with windows 95's arcade which was some kind of life simulator or something? I should've read about the way it was programed and what it actually did, but I just played it when I was younger and now I forgot the name. Life Cell? Life Gen? something along those lines? It was a grid and you got to specify either red cells, blue cells or blank cells and activate your cell life grid -thing-

and then it was all pretty and colorful. yeah. you know the one.
what's that called? is it freeware by now?
Thanks

we're on the same page, although I'd like to find the particular one if only for nostalgia value. I've been googling the past few minutes and found some java and flash versions, but I want one in Visual or C or w/e the pwetty colorful one was. Because I've been greeted with a myriad of different versions I'd appriciate if someone knew a place to get the specific offshoot included with Win95. Thanks for replying

I was so sure the colors had something to do with the process. must not've recalled correctly

edit:
i got the windows version from the site you linked me to. If anyone comes up with the colorful one before the thread dies I'd be a little bit happier. But not much. Thanks.

Hmm. They used that sort of thing in one of the intros for Darwinia.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.
