They announced a while ago that Purcell got the license back in his hands and is seriously considering doing something with it.

So true. Too bad this is a mostly non-profitable and dying game genre. The potential of adventure games to appeal to mass audiences is probably greater than any form of gaming, yet it is generally dismissed as an outdated format from the early days of video games. I hope to one day be in a position to change that.
