Surprised they don't go and say "Oh I lost everything, give me a free lap dance."

What's really funny is there are links on that site saying "Help Katrina victims."
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Doesn't this piss any of you off? They're using your money on sleazy girls!

People have always found relief at strip clubs.

Geez.

But not with money donated to them by people all over the country, and not with tax money. That's the point.

The men spend 800$ on sex, the women spend 800$ on handbags. heh. I know which I'd pick >.>

If that makes them forget about everything, so be it. This is a good oppurtunity for some of them to rebuild with free money. They will just end back on the streets. I don't care.

They are using tax money, something they don't even deserve to begin with, and using it to buy lap dances and $800 purses and $200 shoes.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

You *do* realize that 60 billion dollars of tax money was set aside for reconstruction and financial aid, right? They're wasting my taxes on strip clubs? You're *damn right* it's my business, Ubuu.

Well, I know a friend who are claiming FEMA money when nothing from new orleans got damaged, they just lived there. There is no way to stop all the fraud. Sure it sucks, but what are you really going to do about it? They could do a background check, but the people in dire need are already going through enough trouble to get help. I have enough compassion to not care about the few (besides my friends, I set him straight, cause what he did was inconsiderate and I made him give at least 500 to the red cross).

And who is "they" THRAWN, many of those people do work and have lost their jobs, they have the right to the tax money as much as you.

These cards were issued to buy FOOD and CLOTHING in order to survive. This is disgusting.

I don't know if I'd call it "disgusting" but it sure isn't good.

Look at it this way, by abusing these cards they are screwing themselves later.

[edit: screwing is not a pun. er didn't mean it that way]

It is disgusting. It's outright theft from America's taxpayers.

No, they were issued to buy whatever. It's a silly use, but if they wanted to give them food, they'd give them food stamps.

Well I don't have a $2,000 debit card sitting in my wallet from the Red Cross and Chase Bank.

Did you lose your home, belongings, pets, life, etc? If so, then please, sign up for it.

Stop whining, girly man.

You missed the point. He said "they have the right to the tax money as much as you."

Thing is, I don't have the right to the tax money. I was correcting him pretty much with over sarcasm.

Well then you're pretty damn stupid if you can't get the inferred "if you were in this situation" that he meant. I mean, hell, it's like saying "LOL ONLY IN YOUR OPINION" when someone says they like a game...it's not hard to extrapolate that they're just saying that it's from their opinion, not drawn from some random fact (oops, got off again, sorry Connection Problem).

I think this is great. If some idiot wants to spend all the money on lap dances, then let him. Hopefully he starves and dies on the street from hunger and exposure. One less idiot in the gene pool.

Nice to know you resort to using insults to try and prove a point. Oh well, I'm gonna report your post for it.

I bet the people who did aren't spending their money at strip clubs. After all, not every one's house got pwnt.
