I watched the trailer. Out of all the awesome game music in the past 20 years, they choose the HALO theme? Don't get me wrong, it's pretty good, but there's way better. I guess it'll sell tickets though.

No, the Halo theme is incredible. Don't you remember the impact it had when you watched that first video at the macworld expo in 1999? Jaw-dropping. Insane.

A lot of people have played Halo. It's a popular game. It will make a lot of people happy when they hear the theme song from Halo.

The announcement trailer from Halo2 was better than the entire game Halo2. It rocked.

I'm going to the show in Phoenix this November. I've never been to a symphony, so I'm looking forward to it. I just wish they had the Diablo 2 music.

I'm glad they're having the Rainbow Six series. The music from those games have always managed to get me to pop a boner.

Another game I would've liked to see on the list is Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. That's one of the games I'd start up just to listen to the music :p

Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries had some hardcore rocking music. Sometimes I still pop it in while I'm driving if I feel like endangering my life.

C&C games (especially C&C and Red Alert), KotOR, Hitman 2 & contracts, Deus Ex and Final Fantasy games have pretty damn ace music.

Duke Nukem 3D and Doom have great music.

Half-Life & 2 have nice music.

As for the original topic of the thread.. uh, yay!
