wheels.. (and tires)

need to get new wheels for my car (1998 Toyota Corolla), and new tires... I've never done anythign like this before, and so I'm not sure what to look for, or where to go to have it done. I have a few places in mind and a few types of wheels (no idea bout tires, but I'm looking for low profile, and not anything crappy).

Wheels:

here's a picture of the style I'm looking for... That or something similar. Nothing with only 5 spokes, either 6 - 10 (very fond of 10), and nothing too flashy... but just a little flashy. (the picture is a Stern ST-1, anyone know anything about those?)

Feel free to make suggestions... Primary concern is quality, but also looking for something costworthy.

Installation:
I have a few places in mind. What do you guys think of them?

*Altons (just joking.. I won't go there at all. don't suggest it)
*Les Schwab (a bit on the pricy side, but I hear they do an exceptional job)
*Percision Tire (not sure if this is a national chain or a local store, but I've heard good things about it, and would probably be a bit less expensive than Les Schwab)

Tires:
I have no idea what to get in this area... Suggestions, please... Again quality is primary concern... but don't want anything overpriced.

Nice rims. For some reason I was expecting something really ricey, but they look pretty good.

You should search eBay plus whatever car sites you Americans use for some wheel + tire combos.

Just for the love of all that is holy, please don't paint your rims, or get them gold-plated. Otherwise, I think it'll be ok.

Theres's nothing wrong with a nice set of chrome rims, but I agree, don't go for the bling-bling look.

Here's some advice, Sarn:
