Well Ijust got my tonsils out yesterday. I must say, i've heard people say its absolutly horrible but I feel 100% fine. The only pain i get is when I swollow and its comparable to a sore throat. But I heard it gets worse after a couple days. Im on T3's and a special homemade milkshake with a certain special ingrediant :p

I guess I should get back to bed, even tho I feel fine. Anyone else have experiences with tonsils bein taken out?

It hurts for about a week. Then there's a dull pain for about 2 weeks. In the end, it's the best cause you don't get sick all the time anymore.

Maybe your "special" ingredient is why you feel fine.

1991. Rolled me into the operating room. They gassed me, I tripped and saw a helix of Vitruvian Men of which I was one. Woke up to find my pyjama's and teddybear caked with blood. Vomited the blood that I had swallowed. Everything tasted horrible. But then things turned out alright.

I remember waking up in the operating room, with weird-looking men (in full operating attire, masks, etc) completely surrounding me. I was terrified. I was only five. I screamed bloody murder until my parents came to calm me down. The weird thing was, I woke up in the operating room after the procedure was over. WTF?! Don't they usually cart you off to a more pleasant area before you wake up? It seems like they cut it kinda close there with the anesthesia.

After that it got a lot better. I soon learned that I would get to eat lots of jello and icecream. My parents also stopped by a department store on the way home and let me pick out a toy for being a brave boy.
