Neither do I. In fact, the very idea is atrocious. Seriously Hideo, you gave us Raiden in MGS2 and now Geezer Snake? At least MGS3 is still awesome.

I seriously thought at one moment he (Hideo) was going to go with the 'Snake didn't really kill big boss.' storyline and had given him an electronic eye.

It would have worked but the wrong eye is covered up.

Yeah, I don't want to have heart attacks while I'm trying to be sneaky, then have to stab myself with some calming agent.

I don't think any of you really know what you're talking about, at this point. I have enough blind faith in MGS that this game will really shine. And I'm willing to bet you won't be playing old snake for the entire game. And even if you do, I am confident it'll be kickass.

Have some faith in the game franchise that, even when we had to play wussy boy Raiden, the game STILL kicked ***.

Kirby's right. I am entirely confident that MGS4 is going to be awesome, and I really don't see the problem with making the 'survival' aspect more integral to the game.

But anyways, I don't know why you all are complaining, the game is going to be awesome. BTW, appearently to Hideo, Raiden is going to be a lot cooler. Here's to hoping.

Maybe he'll look more like Clint Eastwood than Donald Sutherland.

-Not to say Donald Sutherland isn't a cool old dude, he's just... well, he's no Clint Eastwood.
