I just saw it and all I can say is..what?

-I'm famous, I'm getting paid 2 million dollars to do a whiskey commercial.
-Cool.
-I'm married.
-Me too.
-Want to go out sometime?
-Okay.
-Lets get drunk and sing.
-Yay.
-Does life get easier?
-No.
-That sucks.
-Yeah, your in a midlife crisis.
-Lets go out again.
-Boobies.
-On second thought lets get drunk again.
-Okay.
-Wanna eat sushi?
-No, I just had sex with some lady.
-Oh. Okay then
-I think I need to go.
-Really?
-Nah, I think I will stay.
-Cool.
-Now I'm leaving..
-Okay, bye.
-Bye.
-No wait! I'm staying
-Huh?
-Just kidding, let me whisper something to you, then I'll leave...for real this time.
-Okay, bye.
END

WTF was that? Lost in Editing is more like it.

Bill Murray did a freaking awesome job acting..but I just didn't like the movie.

I really enjoyed the movie. I was so disappointed that Murray didn't win anything for that role, he really deserved it.

Isn't Murray among the only people from the original SNL cast to actually have a decent career afterwards?

And yes, Bill Murray is awesome.

It was great, but very strange and involves quite a bit of thought. Considering you like Kill Bill so much, SAJN, i'm not suprised at your reaction. Don't get me wrong, that's not an insult, Kill Bill was a good movie, its just that the two movies are so incredibly different that its very hard to appreciate both.

*grabs side laughing*

What? I think not.

I like all types of movies. Comedy, Drama, Western, Fantasy, Action, Adventure, Romantic. You name it, I like it. I just thought that Lost in Translation wasn't that great. It didn't go anywhere.

It isn't that I didn't understand it. It was just that I didn't think it made a good film. Bill Murray is still the man...Well for now. Garfield I mean WTF. Bill Murray does sound a bit like the old cartoon Garfield...but the Garfield movie is just 100% stupid.

I really liked the film. It perfectly captures the feeling of being stuck and jetlagged in another country, trying desperately to fall asleep at 3am while it's still 2pm back home. You're forced to pull through a 24+ hour period of being awake, since if you fall asleep during the wrong time, you'll never adjust.

What were you expecting? Some stupid American gross-out teen comedy with racial-stereotypes and fart jokes? Explosions every other second? Mass CGI battles? Agonizingly trite "Go on without me!" "NOOOO! I'm NOT LEAVING YOOOU!" moments?

You don't find it at all refreshing to watch a movie every now and then that doesn't adhere to a hollywood blockbuster formula?
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.
