Yes, it is obvious that this the low point of microsoft. they have stooped low enough as to utterly destroy one of the greatest works of literature ever, just as advertising for a product. It is horrendously stupid and just plain wrong.

Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is. Yall act like it is a national tragedy or something. It certainly isn't as bad as that teacher who dumbed down the US National Anthem so the kids wouldn't have to learn words like "ramparts."

Well, this isn't unlike the Lord of the Rings movies.

Hopefully, this'll interest people to actually read Iliad and enjoy Homer. I don't see anything wrong with this, as long as they make it perfectly clear that this isn't how they actually spoke in Troy. If this inspires one person to read Homer who would otherwise never have known about it, I think it's great.
