Massassi, today and yesterday I've had something mysterious happen to me. I woke up yesterday morning with a rash on my ankles that went away. About half way through one of my morning classes, my legs and elbows started to itch. I look at them to see that they've got this pink/red rash all over them, and my elbow is hot to the touch. That evening , I get home and take a shower, and get out to find I've got hives on my back (lower) around each armpit, each upper arm, and each thigh/shin. And I mean HIVES. Like they were all puffy and swollen.

I woke up this morning and it was all gone. About half way through another morning class, my legs itched again and it started up, just not quite as badly (although still annoying). As I write this, I'm trying to keep from itching my elbows.

I've not eaten anything different, I have done anything different, and they don't "go away after an hour or two". I've ruled out the measles, since it hasn't even touched my head, let alone start there, and it can't be shingles since it's all over my body and not just one part (had chicken pox when I was 5).

It's either there or it's not. At lunch it was gone. An hour later, it was annoying the hell out of me. It just comes and goes. Oh, and it's symetrical, so if one side has it the other has it nearly exactly the same.

Anyone experienced anything like this before? I was going to go to the doctor today, but since it stopped, I didn't. Anyone have any ideas/cures, and if so, PLEASE TELL ME NOW. This is extremely annoying and disruptive.

poison oak and ivy oils can stay in clothes, so maybe you have some sort of irritant in some of your clothes. Have you gotten anything on your clothes that is caustic?

No, switched clothes every day.

Oh, and guys, please don't turn this into a joke *looks at the AIDs comment* because it's seriously starting to annoy me (the rash).

Oh, and I've been sleeping in the same sheets, been using the same soaps in the shower, and my mom hasn't switched laundry detergent.

It seems like it was the worse when you got out of the shower, try changing your soap, shampoo, deodorant, whatever. Also, change your sheets, cause it could set on them and then come in contact with you again when you go to sleep. I know that if I don't change the brand of my deodorant after a few months, it starts to turn red and burn.

My one friend's car did this to him after he first got it. It gave him hives.

Eventually he got better though.

no ****? Pfft, I thought that was just in the movies. You've gotta be kidding. Whatever you do don't go to a doctor. They can't help.

I still don't believe you got your throat cut open, I mean EVERYONE knows that ONLY in the movies.

Could you be getting exposed to something you're allergic to in one of your classes?

Poor deoderant :(.

As for the rash, you should really go to a walk-in clinic (just make sure you walk back out).

Doubt it. But I talked to my dad and he said it's possibly stress, but I doubt it. Although, I have one teacher (the rash always starts up in HIS room) who's REALLY pissing me off, so it's possible. He's not going about what he wants us to do very well, and not explaining much at all. So...possibly. Oh, and my Dad has got a doctor meeting (he's got a problem, but it's not a big deal, just a sleeping disorder) and my mom's going too, so I POSSIBLY won't even make it to the doctor tommorrow.

WRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I'm starting to think the stress rash idea may be right...

Now, I'm a Doctor, but I'm not that kind of Doctor. I think you should go see a specialist. One who is certified in treating non-heart-related diseases, as I am.

I'm pretty sure the uroshil oil will not be effecting him with swelling without yellow puss coming out of some points in his leg.

We are not doctors, and cannot diagnose you over the internet. I suggest you get it checked out if it persist. Just be sure to wash it a lot.

I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure stress can't give you hives.

Yeah, it sounds a bit too drastic and extreme to be caused by stress.

I'd say scabies. I just found out that I've had it for about 9 months now. Never went to the doctor's office because I don't have medical insurance. Mentioned my skin irritation while I was in a walk-in clinic for an STI screening. She gave me a prescription for a highly toxic cream to take the scabies out. You'll need to see a doctor to fix it, as you are going to do, but do it fast. I've lived with the itching for 9 months now, and I only have a mild case. I need money to pick up the prescription. It still itches.

Oh. Right. Sorry, I didn't know that you guys weren't medical experts. It's not like I said it in one of my PREVIOUS POSTS.

Oh..wait. I did. READ MY THE THREAD BEFORE YOU POST.

Anyway, Dad had a doctor thing in Vincennes Indiana (45 minutes from here at mid-day and mom went with) so I didn't get to the doctor. However, I did ignore it today, and tried to relax and..well...until about an hour ago it hasn't really bothered me. But that's probably because it's hot in this house and I'm not doing anything.

It wasn't on my legs today (if it was, just barely and I didn't notice) and it was a little on my lower back and probably on my front body/chest, but not as bad. I didn't really notice it at all today. I'll let it go over the weekend and just ignore it because that seemed to work today. And it's not coming in very hard either...

So, well, no to the doctor. I have no way to get to one without my parents driving, and I doubt they would. And it's the weekend, so the doctor's office will be closed, and I don't wanna deal with the hospital. If it gets too bad over the weekend, I'll do something about it. But I'll just try and relax and ignore it like today.
I had a blog. It sucked.
