so... i tried to play a DVD (Equilibrium) on this laptop computer... which was recently reformatted and had XP installed... so the problem is, it has no default DVD player (besides Windows media, which doesn't have the correct Codec... you have to BUY the freaking Codec... that's retarded)... so i tried to download intervideo winDVD... which used to be on this comp... it isn't free.
SO then, i downloaded Interactual DVD player (free on the TTT DVD)... only to find that when i try to play Equilibrium, a message comes up saying that:
so... i lowered both the color depth and the resolution as far as they would go, with the same error message resulting upon attempted playback.
so i thought i'd read the FAQ on the interactual page... that page is kinda useless...
any ideas on how to fix this?!?! I don't want to pirate the software, nor do i wish to download any other good free DVD player. Thanks.
