Help me build a pc.

Ok, well, not actually. At some point in the near future I may purchase a new PC....no new monitor...just a system. I was wondering if you all can recommend a place to make that purchase at. If you can, recommend places where I can purchase the thing already assembled and also places where I could just buy the parts and case and assemble it myself.

Also, I have rome total war. When I play, I can have all the graphics turned up and play just fine...Except for when there are tons of units on the field. When there are too many units on the field the game lags and hangs up. The same thing happens when there are less units but there are archers using fire arrows...that really hangs up the comp. What part of the PC would have an effect on that performance? What would I have to upgrade?

Best Buy has great deals for preassembled machines, New Egg is the only place to go for individual parts.

My pc PWNs for $600.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

You'll want a gig, and at least a 6800 to play R:TW with all settings highest. A processor equivalent to 3ghz and/or better wouldn't hurt, either (3000+ counts).
