You could play audio tracks from awesome TV shows such as Futurama or Family Guy. That would be cool if you have nothing else for filler.

I'll give it a go. Nothing says egotistical like hosting your own radio show :P. Preferably around 2 - 5AM because that's late afternoon/evening here, I think.

I've got some actual comedy radio shows as mp3 files. Stuff like Dead Ringers (impressions) and The Mighty Boosh. (they started as a radio show and i have all the episodes.)

Dunno if theres much interest in that though.

it's internet radio. You'll need winamp or another audio player capable of playing .pls streaming audio.

Kegz--just make sure that's the slot you want.

So we need someone from 12AM to 2AM, 1PM to 2PM, and 4PM to 7PM. Realize this is weekdays only, I'm still yet to figure something out for the weekends (which is going to be a bit of a problem I predict).

Well, 4-5PM CST (10-11 pm where i am, i believe) would be good for me, since then all my shifts at work are usually finished.

edit - 30 minutes to an hour, but no every day. i'll do it at some time that equates to about midnight gmt on sun-wed most weeks.

I can't do my timeslot on Mondays or Wednedays, so if someone wants it then, it's open. (Fridays will be bad often as well.)

Maybe you could get Geb and the other ISBers to read parts of their stories. It would make good filler for times when we have no active DJ. They write some pretty good stuff.

That sounds good.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 10PM - 12AM CST is open. Go crazy. After we get the weekdays sorted out, we'll sort out weekends, since tons of people are on and can fill in if needbe.

Mondays, Tuesdays, and I guess Fridays as well are open from 8-10 CST

I was going to offer to DJ a slot, but I just found out that winamp doesnt support files you bought off of iTunes, so I dont feel like using such a **** program.

Are there any players that support protected AAC files?

I hate that I can't play any of the songs I bought over iTunes in other players.

I can regularly do Tuesdays and Thursdays 10pm to whenever. Soon to be Wednesdays too, but not for a week of two. But Tuesdays and Thursdays are a go as of now. I can rip the rest of my CDs too, and have about 20 or so gigs of music. I have around 8 floating around now that I can use. And none of it sucks. :p Wait, I take that back, I have Gunther's Ding Dong Song for the sheer shock value. But that's about it.
