No, that's an actual unit in WC3 :p. Also, there's a mod coming out called Starcraft: Revolution for WC3 that remakes Starcraft for WC3.

In one mission you could get a hydralisk. He was powerfull, but much slower than he was in StarCraft.

Hydra, Zergling, Marine, and Firebat are all the default ones in WC3.

But, yes WC3 has the units as stated above, and I'm sure there's models for the other units, you just have to look.

Well, diablo has hydras, but it's a spell the sorceress casts. (And it sucks since 1.10 )

1.08 was the best. 1.09 nerfed a bunch of the uniques.
I loved my sorc. I mean all my characters were pretty bad arse, but my sorc had THE best items you could get. Full Tal Rasha MF gear setup, and the best regular play gear, extremely powerfull rares and the best uniques. Ahh..

Diablo only pissed me off once. I just found the best amazon bow right before a server crash/mess up. I lost it. I emailed blizzard like 100 times trying to get them to give it back but no luck

There's waaaay better stuff for MFing than tal rasha's these days.

Why were there no protoss units though? And why in the screen rotation are there a zerg and terran picture, but not a solo protoss one? Seriously, the 'toss were the best, where is the love?

What if blizzard is gonna go Command and Conquar style? show subtle liinks between games then slam you in the face with a game that wraps it up and shows how its all connected[hopfully!]

Subtle links between games? They're not that subtle. Blizzard is so uncreative, they've taken names of items from Diablo 2 and used them for items in World of Warcraft. In fact, they've even taken items that aren't even related to their games and used them. For instance, in "Big Trouble in Little China", there is a magical bag called the "Six Demon Bag" and it is described by one of the characters as having "Wind, fire, all that kind of thing". There's a trinket in WoW named "Six-Demon Bag" and its description is "Blast your enemies with the power of wind, fire, all that kind of thing". I realize that you have to fill in a lot of info for items in an MMO, but come on, how hard is it to think up something on your own?

Blizzard has always put references to other things in their games. It's not uncreative, they're just subtle in-jokes for people who can spot them. See, they're called easter eggs :p

There's a number of references in WC and SC to various movies and games; most notably, a lot of terran units say lines from the Alien series, and a lot of WC3 units make references to all sorts of ****. It's just part of blizzard's charm. The "six demon bag" reference isn't there because they're uncreative, it's there so people like you who recognize the reference would get a kick out of it.

It's called an Easter Egg. It's not uncreative. If you really wanted to say a company was uncreative, I'd ask that you look no further then the developers of EverQuest.. or should I say, 99% tolkein era fantasy content.

SOE isn't nearly as bad as EA. EA is the epitome of uncreativeness.
