Apparently playNC announced that City of Heroes subscribers won't have to pay a monthly fee to pay City of Villians.

Also, they're adding the base building stuff thats coming with COV to COH.

I've been playing COH for like 4 or 5 months now, and I LOVE IT.

The fun doesn't stop, theres plenty of things to do, and when I get bored.. I make a new character.

Why would you have to pay a monthly fee to play an expansion anyway?

It wasn't announced as an expansion.

It was just supposed to be a stand-alone. But apparently they're linking the two, but ONLY for people who have both.

IE, you can buy City of Villians and play it without City of Heroes, but you won't have access to the "cross over" zones.
