Post your ideas, suggestions, and questions for the show here.

I've actually decided my voice is somewhere between Fozzy Bear and Slippy from Starfox 64.

More than the latest dabblings of three prominent community editors, the first episode of the Editing Cantina covers our opinions and analysis on projects currently in development, gameplay types, and developments in the JK Hub framework.

Plus, you'll also get to hear my sexy, sexy, slightly hungover voice. ;]

I've gotten to listen through this episode, and it's REALLY good. I hope that everybody tunes in tomorrow at 11pm (cst) to listen to this broadcast. The show is already going to be off to a great start. The conversation flows really well, and the content is pretty darned good. :)

Here's a suggestion:

Release the episodes for download after they've aired. Waiting a month will suck for those of us interested in it, but probably won't be able to devote time to hearing it live. :(

Eh, I want people to actually listen to it on the radio, and not waste my bandwidth when it's actually being aired for little to no bandwidth.

The show airs in 15 minutes!

Needs to be provided for DL as a torrent. Personally, I usually work on the weekends, and I'm sure other people are busy as well. I was lucky enough to not be out of town this weekend, but that's a rarity for me. :(

But after awhile, like a month or so, would there still be content to talk about? I mean, JKediting isn't at its peak.

So we've already decided that the next show will be split into 15-20 minute sections, and split up by blocks of music, as well as user submitted commercials. Record a funny, but non offensive commercial for your level, website, or even just a fun hoakey thing. It seems people find it difficult to sit through 90 minutes of tEC.

We do this like once a week for fun on Skype... you'd be surprised. There's a lot to talk about.

Oh, and we need a website. I have space, I just need someone with the capabilities to put together a sexy website with news scripts, polls, a pretty design, and other functions. Credit will be given on the air, and I'm willing to write a sexy referall for a portfolio, as well.

Show some of your previous works so I can make sure we're getting a quality designer.

I am pleased that many found the show enjoyable and even motivational. (I have only seen or heard two negative comments about it out of the many compliments.) Keep the suggestions for improvement coming; we want this show to be fun for everyone.

All of us JK editors edit JK as a hobby and can't devote all of our time to it, so I like to think of the show as a fun way to hear about the latest editing news. Probably more important than news, the show can remind us that we can come together to make some cool stuff.

Sure, the game is old, but just like Chess, it has something to it that makes it a classic, that is, it has an enduring quality. Many JK players come into the #jkhub chat room looking for games and state how different JK is from other games. There are already many ways the game has been changed and enhanced, but there is still so much more we can do with it. Let's make JK the game that has endless variety.

We have only just begun.

:)
