What kind of PC is it?

I can run HL2 on my widescreen laptop alright. Takes a while to load stuff, but they definately did some major optomizations to get it running so smooth. I hope now they do the same for DOD:S so i can maybe use HDR lighting, looks sweet but it keeps my comp too busy to actually use online.

Optimizations? You guys do know it's just the HL1 engine with big textures, fancy shaders, Havok, and higher poly models, right? (and the face stuff)

Its not "just" the HL1 engine, it shares fundimental similarities, but it was built from scratch.
